Partner CNR-ITAE started the synthesis of the heterogeneous catalysts by co-precipitation method and hydrothermal treatment. These will be used to operate outside the cell in specific catalytic-bed reactors as catalytic enhancers to regenerate the base redox species while producing oxygen and hydrogen gases from water.
